Necessary Fall
I had a moment this morning as I was walking through the hallways of the company I am currently contracted with when it occurred to me, especially after yesterday evening’s fall that the power to get back up again and my attitude is up to me. I’m not perfect at it but I’m better than I used to be. I also wondered if a fall is necessary to stay humble and also to keep things into perspective?
For this upcoming chapter in my life, I refuse to stay down. I almost never do but instead, I’m also promising myself to keep going as I always have but I am determined to do so with a smile on my face. The journey has all lead me to this point and it’s time I continue to remain present and open. I also recognize that I am human and I’m so great at telling others to extend grace to themselves but I need to remember this too.
I’m excited about life, where I’m going and this dream I’m chasing. I can’t wait to see where God is taking me next, I’m just glad I’m not staying the same.
