Central Park
The sights, and the sounds, make my heart melt every time. I hear doo-wop, hip hop, R&B, salsa & merengue, and suddenly I’m reminded of the kind of world I want to live in. No chaos or confusion, or civil unrest. Just love. People just living, embracing each other, and creating more room for others. Maybe this is what makes New York City so special. That feeling of when you come here, you belong. It’s empowerment, the cold hard truth, it’s the breaking you back down but putting you back together to make you the best version of yourself. It’s freedom, its dreams coming true, it’s that constant reminder to be your best to give your very best. It’s you and it’s me, it’s all of us together living as one. As corporate capitalism continues to invade, Central Park remains the one tried and true thing about Manhattan.
