Sarah was featured on the “Where is My Mind” podcast where she shares some of the most vulnerable moments that lead her to therapy and eventually lead her back to her first love of acting. She feels that “Sometimes life happens on purpose & sometimes it doesn’t but it all part of your journey to get you to who and where you’re supposed to be” Sarah was asked, “What is one thing you’d like an artist or other non-artist to remember?” Her response, “I’m always reminded of a quote of Dolly Parton, where she said, “Figure out who you are and do it on purpose”…but for me, also I have learned that who I am changes daily, and that’s ok! It’s about learning to accept both the good and the bad parts of life. I don’t think we should be confined to one thing as humans or even artists, it’s very limiting.” She was also quoted to say, “Where is the fun in life if we’re always playing it safe? As an artist we have to be brave, not only because we’re stepping into someone else’s shoes as the character but also because part of the work as an actor is also confronting areas of yourself you may not necessarily like, especially if it’s blocking you in a scene and that’s something I had to do, I don’t regret it at all. It’s made me such a better person and I’m grateful.”
