Sarah won “Best Actress” at the Miami Women’s Film Festival for her lead role in her first self-produced short film entitled “Hero”.
“Hero” follows the story of Sabrina, a woman who is struggling with trauma while trying to break into the world of acting but resorts to unhealthy coping mechanisms.
This is an inspiring & uplifting story about the willingness to persevere & overcome no matter what life can throw at us.
Sarah was quoted to say, “I’m honored and humbled. Thank you to the festival for honoring my work. I really do hope this film saves someone’s life and that the narrative surrounding mental health continues to change”.
